Avengers: Endgame isn’t just the second-highest grossing movie of all time (it’s no longer first thanks to Avatar’s re-release, which catapulted the blue natives back to the top).

It is also an emotional tribute to two of our most beloved characters…

(Spoiler alert)

Iron Man and Captain America.

Now, as questionable as it sounds, many grown men around the world have wept over the fate of these two valiant heroes. Yet at the same time, many have also wondered about the aftereffects of both heroes’ actions.

“We need answers,” they pleaded.

Well, luckily for us, Falcon and The Winter Soldier is set to grant us a glimpse into just that…

Seeing how it takes place six months after Captain America passes the mantle in Avengers: Endgame.

8. Television Cinema

According to Kevin Feige, the series entails a “cinematic experience” across all six episodes.

So yes, you’re essentially watching a movie that has been somewhat adjusted to fit the small screen. A 6-hour long television movie, in a way.

The series is also touted to possess all the hallmarks of a classic Marvel film, as it supposedly features “action, comedy, [a] high-octane pace, familiar faces, and new characters”.

9. ‘Partners In Crime’

The six-episode series is part of an effort to combine both the theatrical and television sides of the MCU.

Its release follows that of popular series WandaVision, and comes before the impending release of Loki.

Meanwhile, Hawkeye, Moon Knight, Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk and the animated What If…? will arrive on the small screen in due time.

And yes, all in Disney+, of course.

10. Future

Feige has also announced the general plans for the near and far future.

“Over the course of the 23 films, we’ve pulled together a roster of amazing actors and talented filmmakers, and we’re excited to continue to work with these individuals to tell new, longform stories in ways that we’ve never done before,” he said.

“These shows will be on the same level of quality that you’ve come to expect from Marvel Studios, and we’ll be taking advantage of that creative freedom that Disney+ offers exploring the MCU, the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with our favorite characters over multiple episodes.

“These will be both new and continuing stories, and one of the things we’re most excited about, is that these will be major storylines set in the MCU with ramifications that will be felt both through the other Disney+ series we’re producing and our features on the big screen.”

As for a possible second season of Falcon and the Winter Soldier, it appears that intentions are, for lack of a better phrase, still on tenterhooks.

Feige has, however, indicated that there were ideas for “another one”, but declined to confirm a second season.

Confirmation could potentially be a spoiler, he said.

You can watch Falcon and the Winter Soldier on Disney+.
