It’s no stranger for us to hear about pop singers getting outed for their infidelities—stories about Show Luo’s cheating fiasco and most recently, Wang Lee Hom’s high-profile divorce.

But this time another singer gets exposed for something arguably less bad.

Malaysian singer, Gary Chaw, was recently accused of causing a ruckus in a restaurant in Taipei.

He was filmed in a video to be cussing English swear words repeatedly outside a room located in the restaurant. The incident allegedly took place on 7 March, Monday.

Some of you guys would probably remember belting this out with one ice Milo in hand inside the rooms of Teo Heng. I know I do.

Guess he too was trying to be his own superman when he wanted to settle things with the group who caused him to lose his temper in the first place.

What Happened According to Chaw

According to Chaw, the netizen who uploaded the video failed to capture the whole story.

This was why he threatened to take legal action against them if they failed to make a statement to reveal what really happened during the commotion.

Chaw said that on the night when the incident occurred, he was having chicken soup with his mentor, music producer Micahel Tu, at the restaurant when a group of people entered the room next to theirs and began talking loudly.

Chaw  had notified the restaurant staff about the noise but the noisy chatter continued. Because of this, Chaw and Tu decided to leave the place.

But before Chaw left, he was angered when he heard someone in the room using an English swear word which led to the ruckus.

In a report done by Taiwan Mirror Media, Chaw stressed that he was not the one at fault.

“(The netizen) provided a video which was in their favour. I am in the open and they are in the dark.”

Tu had also the same account of the incident given by Chaw and noted that the pair were not even drunk even though there was wine present in the chicken soup.

This goes to show that it’s not worth it to lose your cool in public, especially when you are someone famous. Let’s hope the netizen does something soon lest Chaw really sues them…

…and get them into hot soup.
