Do you live, love and breathe all things cheese? Because if you do…

You have to get a plane ticket to Thailand right now.

Thailand Burger King Offering Cheeseburgers With Just 20 Slices of Cheese Without Meat Patty

It seems that Thailand’s Burger King has pulled out all the stops in its latest venture… including the meat, veggie and pretty much everything else except the bread and the cheese.

Termed “The Real Cheeseburger”, this monstrosity of a burger boasts two slices of bread and twenty slices of cheese.

And yes, it’s actually real.

Unveiled on 9 July 2023 on the Thailand Burger King Facebook page, the creation has already garnered over 3.5K likes & reactions and a whopping 2.3K shares.

I like how they have to title it “The Real Cheese Burger” just to clarify that it’s authentic and not a really late April Fool’s joke.

Originally priced at 380 baht (S$14.64), the burger has been made available for just 109 baht (S$4.20).

And you can even add more cheese if you want, at just 20 baht (S$0.77) for every two additional slices.

Though why anyone would do so is really out of my comprehension range.

The burger’s also available for delivery countrywide, so the lucky folks over in Thailand can rejoice.

It should be noted, however, that the burger’s not a permanent menu item; it’ll only be sold from 10 July to 20 August. So if you’re flying to Thailand only after 20 August, tough luck.

Well, yes. And many have been sharing their exploits.

Some did, however, note the less-than-healthy proportions of the burger.

And it’s a rational assumption. Notwithstanding the relatively high protein content in cheese, the sheer fat and salt content at hand may leave more to be desired.

But considering how we’ve had the likes of the Double Down and the Jaw Breaker, such things have long since become obsolete, haven’t they?

Just have it once in a blue moon, and it should be okay.

In the meantime, I’ll satisfy myself with the classic McDonald’s Double Quarter pounder with cheese. Or at least until Burger King Singapore has its own version of the real cheeseburger.

We’re waiting.
