Is the West side or East side the best side of Singapore?

Well, the East side might take the cake with the opening of a new NTUC FairPrice Finest in Century Square.

New NTUC FairPrice Finest Opens in Century Square

Today (27 January), East-siders find themselves equipped with one more argument to prove why the East side is the best side.

A new NTUC FairPrice Finest store just opened in Century Square, and the store doubles as a restaurant — there are cooks there to prepare food for you for just $8.

And if you’re itching for a drink, forget about heading to a bar — you can also enjoy a glass of wine or two in-store!

Truly putting the “finest” in FairPrice Finest.

Here’s everything you need to know about the newly-opened NTUC FairPrice Finest at Century Square.

Pick ‘n’ Cook Service at The Grocer Kitchen

Too lazy to cook at home?

Century Square’s NTUC FairPrice Finest has a solution for you — the Pick ‘n’ Cook service at The Grocer Kitchen, which is located in-store.

With the Pick ‘n’ Cook service, you can pick from selected cuts of beef (ribeye and sirloin) or seafood in-store and have it cooked fresh inside the supermarket for a mere $8.

That’s not all — you’ll even get sides, including a salad and a soup!

Yes, you read that right. For only $8, you get a complete ‘set meal’ — what’s not to love?

The best part is that you can dine in-store at the supermarket’s exclusive dine-in area.

East-siders, you know where to go to lepak with your friends next time.

Grab a Drink at The Grocer Bar

Itching for a drink while shopping at Century Square? Why not head to The Grocer Bar inside the NTUC FairPrice Finest store and have a pint?

At The Grocer Bar, there’s something for everyone — be it beer, wine, or spirits, the supermarket’s in-store bar has it all. It even has draught beer from Red Dot Brewhouse!

For just a small corkage fee of $8, you can kick back and have a cold one right at the bar itself.

If you’re feeling a little more adventurous, you could try the bar’s Century Bliss cocktail — a cocktail concocted exclusively for NTUC FairPrice Finest Century Square.

We hope it doesn’t taste like century eggs.

Ready-to-Eat Meals

Were you looking for a quick bite instead? NTUC FairPrice Finest Century Square’s got your back with their variety of ready-to-eat meal options — from Chirashi Don to roasted delights such as Dang Gui Duck, whatever suits your palate.

Special Pop-Ups and Events

For all the ‘foodies’ out there — you might want to keep your eyes peeled for the food and drink events hosted at the supermarket’s dine-in area.

NTUC FairPrice Finest Century Square’s dine-in area will occasionally be transformed into an event and community space, hosting special pop-ups and experiential food and drink events.

Do watch for workshops and wine-tasting sessions (for the atas ones among us) that will be hosted at the supermarket!

To top it all off, several promotions will be running in-store at NTUC FairPrice Finest Century Square to celebrate its opening!

Still yet to get yourself a grocery bag? Head down to the new supermarket, spend a minimum of $80, and get a complimentary Finest exclusive bag!

Of course, while stocks last. There are only 100 bags up for redemption. You snooze, you lose.

The store-opening flyer also has an exclusive $5 voucher (with a minimum spend of $50) valid until 26 February.
