How difficult is it to follow the rules?

Sovereign Lady: “I am the rules.”

Sarcastic Woman in Sun Plaza: “Oh, I’m finally viral?”

Sarcastic Woman Who Challenged Safe-Distancing Ambassador & Called Other ‘Stupid’ Went Viral

Just when you thought our dear Sovereign Lady could be the most popular lady in May 2020, another lady wasn’t about to let her hog the limelight.

Because this lady, while not aggressive, is passive aggressive, sarcastic and use chim words and sentences that’d make Amos Yee proud, and she’s now finally viral.

In a video posted by All Singapore Stuff, the lady is seen not wearing a mask in Sun Plaza, which is located beside Sembawang MRT Station.

Here’s the transcript of what she said, because while she doesn’t say that she’s a Sovereign, her words implied so.

We’re going to call her Flowery.

Flowery (standing up towards Safe-Distancing Ambassador): Back off. I said, Back off. So if you want to talk, remove your mask and talk.

SDA: Sorry, this is under the Government’s law—

Flowery: I can’t hear what you’re saying. If my ears can’t hear what you’re saying, that means I’d not be able to hear.

Background: 拍照, 拍照 (take pictures)!

Flowery: 拍照 is already there (pointing somewhere), so don’t be an a**h***, alright?

SDA: But right now, it’s by the law. It’s mandatory to wear a mask even if you…

Flowery: (pretends to put on her mask) This is a mask

SDA: Exactly, but are you wearing it? You’re not wearing it

Flowery: (erm…in a sexy voice?) This is a mask. (to the cameraman) 拍照, this is a mask and it’s how it’s worn, alright? You got any other issues?

SDA: You need to wear it. You can’t—

Flowery: I’m waiting for the security guard. Where is the security guard?

Cameraman: (In Chinese to the SDA) Yes, he’s coming

Flowery: (to camera) 拍照, are you done? Why you stand there for so long without reaction? Security also never come. Another lady came by. She passed by as well. Are you all dumb? Or sophisticatedly stupid? Cheers to you all.

Security: Yah, why ah?

SDA: She’s not wearing a mask

Security: (to Flowery aggressively) Why are you not wearing a mask?

Flowery: Why are you?

Security: I’m the safety officer here (folds his arms)

Flowery: So?

Security: So?

Flowery: Excuse me? (stands up towards security)

Security: Don’t get near me. Don’t get near me.

Flowery: You are security officer. You maintain the distance

Security: (walks towards cameraman) 999

Flowery: Whatever, whatever, whatever

(Security in a…position that’s really not a good idea to be in)

Flowery: That’s precisely. That’s precisely the way it’s supposed to be. Remove your mask before you talk. No one can hear anything. (towards cameraman). Excuse me, 拍照, are you done? I can 拍照 also.

As for this lady, you would have to wonder: is there a yet another grey area in this Circuit Breaker?

Have we forgotten about people who might have a mental health issue? After all, they might not be able to integrate into society and just when they’ve adjusted to society, our society changed instead.

Because if you’ve been on the Internet long enough, you might have seen other videos whereby people confronted others who appear to have a mental health issue, and it’s pretty clear that those self-righteous people might not know how to handle the situation.

Just look at how the security guard handles the situation and it’d remind you of the Stanford prison experiment.

Is this yet another of this case, or does the lady sound too educated?

I mean, who uses the phrase “sophisticatedly stupid” other than Amos Yee?
