Now, if you come into this article hoping to see a Jackie-Chan-style video of a Traffic Police officer hanging on a car bonnet as it sped on PIE at 170 kmh, I’m sorry to disappoint you because it’s not that dramatic.

But it’s still rather dramatic.

I mean, during this Circuit Breaker period when all we do at home is to count the number of tiles on the floor, seeing paint dry has suddenly become exciting.

So this is still a respite.

TP Jumped onto Car Bonnet to Save His Life After Driver Refused to Stop

According to an eyewitness who told Facebook Page SG Road Vigilante – SGRV, a Traffic Police officer who doesn’t look like a TP officer (stealth mode; haven’t you heard?) spotted a car driving dangerously on TPE; it had cut across three lanes and into the chevron markings to exit the expressway.

All I can say this: this is common af.

The TP immediately chased after the car, and the driver allegedly drove “recklessly against the flow of traffic and almost colliding with oncoming vehicles a few times.”

And that’s not all: while on a zebra crossing, after the TP managed to catch up with her and block her path, a Jackie-Chan moment happened.

According to Shinmin Daily, when the officer walked towards the driver, the driver suddenly accelerated.

The officer immediately jumped on the bonnet and bounced to the side of the car.

That is really CB, man.

Soon after, it’s revealed that the driver is a 21-year-old lady who was driving under disqualification and was driving without the owner’s consent.

And her offence is so serious, she was arrested and the car was towed away instead.

Here’s a video of the aftermath—not the video of how the TP office had become Jackie Chan for one second:

Thankfully, no one was injured in this incident—not even Jackie Chan.

Investigations are ongoing.
