Guys, it’s happening.

The day our cabin fever-filled bodies have been waiting for since Circuit Breaker: phase two.

Still, not everything is fully unrestricted even when it rolls around on 19 June.

You can check out more about phase two over here.

I can feel everyone’s excitement from way over here but just be sure to contain yourselves for the next few days.

Or you’ll end up like these guys who couldn’t control themselves during Circuit Breaker.

Two Charged For Robertson Quay Gathering

I miss my friends too but if the rules say no to gatherings, we best follow them.

According to CNA, two more men were charged on 16 June over the Robertson Quay gathering on 16 May.

British citizens and permanent residents Alfred Jon Veloso Waring, 34, and Olagunju Daniel Olalekan Olasunkanmi, 30, were each charged with one count of breaching Regulation 6 of the COVID-19 regulations.

The two, who didn’t stay together, met up with more people to chat and drink near Limoncello restaurant at 95 Robertson Quay.

Which, by the way, you still aren’t supposed to do even in Phase One, not to mention during CB.

Others Previously Charged

This all started when a Facebook user uploaded a post, saying that a group of people were gathering and drinking together.

A quick note on the lack of masks, too.

The Urban Redevelopment Authority had to stop some restaurants in the area from selling takeaway alcohol the next day.

Minister for the Environment and Water Resources Masagos Zulkifli added onto this by saying that selling alcohol to go might’ve contributed to the gathering.

Two days later, police manage to track and put some of those gathered under investigation.

Eventually, six men and one woman were charged on 2 June in regards to this case.

The six men are American Jeffrey George Brown, Austrian Michael Czerny, as well as Britons Neil Gordon Buchan, Perry Scott Blair, James Titus Beatt and Joseph William Poynter. The woman is American Bao Nguyen Brown and is married to Jeffrey George.

All of them were between 30 to 52 years old.

If convicted of breaching COVID-19 (Temporary Measures) (Control Order) Regulations 2020, each can be jailed up to six months, fined up to $10000 or both.

That’s one expensive alcohol party, let me tell you.

Meanwhile, I’ll just wait for my (solo) ramen party once phase two starts.
