When influencers are not busy, uh, influencing, they’re often involved in other ventures, such as creating another account solely for tea-spilling and naming it after our national dish.

Many of them also start their own businesses on the side, as we’ve seen over the years.

This time, the business in question is centred around croissants, and heaps of kaya are involved.

22YO Influencer Nicole Choo Starting a F&B Business Selling Croissants

Local influencer Nicole Choo recently announced on her social media that she’s starting her own croissant business.

According to an Instagram story a week ago, Krazy Kroissants will have its official launch this Friday (17 Dec).

“I’ve been working on this for a while now. I will be launching my very own croissant shop on the 17th of December. Be sure to expect local flavours and flaky croissants sent to your doorstep”, she wrote.

If the company’s logo is any indication, these croissants are going to literally blow your mind:

Five Fillings to Choose From

Customers will have five fillings to choose from at Krazy Kroissants, one of which is called “Lucid Cream”.

Described as the perfect blend of savoury and sweet, the butter croissant is filled with cream cheese and drizzled with condensed milk.

Those who prefer something savoury can go for their “Eggs-plosive” croissant, where truffle scrambled eggs are tucked into a butter croissant. Customers also have the option of topping this off with turkey bacon (and who wouldn’t?).

Next on the menu is a croissant for those who love all things avocado:”What the guac”. “Go crazy, go stupid, go avo-control!” Krazy Kroissant urges.

Perhaps the most appetising of the lot is the Kaya King, which, as the name suggests, features the same, buttery and flaky croissant, but with a nice helping of our favourite local spread.

This is the one item you must try, Krazy Kroissants says.

They say nice guys finish last, but there’s certainly nothing wrong with a lack of over-elaboration and ornamentation; sometimes, the best things in life are the simplest. Meet Mr Nice Guy, a simple butter croissant for those who like their croissants undefiled by other ingredients.

Prices for the croissants have yet to be announced. Will you be having one?
