If you didn’t know about Dalgona Coffee, you’re not hip and we can’t be friends.

But if you really don’t know about Dalgona Coffee, you might want to read this article that my colleague has kindly written.

Simply put, it’s a strong, thick whipped coffee cream on top of milk. And it’s all over social media now for a very simple reason: people got nothing better to do at home now it’s easy to make with only a few ingredients that almost everybody has.

Seriously, you probably have this 3 ingredients at home:

  • Water
  • Sugar
  • Instant Coffee

Before Circuit Breaker broke our lives, two of us tried making it in the office and let’s just say that it looks easy but it isn’t. Here, take a look the disaster:

The whole idea of Dalgona Coffee is for you to make at home and Instagram it, though Dalgona Coffee fans have claimed that it’s by far the best coffee they’ve had for years.

But for some reason, Coffee Bean decided that we should do more productive things at home, like sleeping lah I don’t know, and so they’re selling Dalgona Coffee, too:

They would, however, only be available for takeaway at these outlets:

While we wonder why cafes remain open, do remember that you can’t have your Dalgona Coffee at the café, which makes us wonder: how would it look like?
