Us Singaporeans can no longer be satisfied with our McChickens and McSpicys.

No, we demand to have higher quality burgers.

This is why Singaporeans flocked to Jewel in the thousands, to try Shake Shack’s high-quality burgers. That created never-ending queues that snaked around the shopping centre, and two-hour (at least) wait times.

This coming Monday, be ready to see another pilgrimage towards heavenly-tasting burgers, for a famous burger joint shall be opening up in Singapore.

Five Guys Opening

Famous and delicious burger chain Five Guys will be opening their first store here in Singapore, Plaza Singapura, on 16 December this coming Monday.

For two years in a row, they were voted Burger Restaurant Brand Of The Year at the Harris Poll Equitrend Study in 2017 and 2018.

Yes, now I don’t have to travel to Pulau Changi just to have my atas burgers.

Five Guys is actually pretty similar to Shake Shack, offering high-quality burgers, sides, and shakes.

Here is the menu that they offer:

Yum.

Unique Offerings

There are a few things that set Five Guys apart from other fast-food joints. The first is that Five Guys gives you unlimited toppings. That means you can put on as many delicious toppings, like grilled mushrooms, grilled onions, tomatoes, lettuce etc as you want.

Oh, but that is not the fun part. You can also have unlimited mix-ins for your milkshake.

You can choose to add chocolate, salted caramel, oreo cookie bits, and even bacon. For free.

Thirdly, apparently some of us are carnivores who do not eat vegetables or buns. If that sounds like you, all of Five Guys burger and hotdog offerings are available without the bun.

Not impressed yet? Here are some interesting facts about the current Five Guys restaurants:

  • They only use fresh ground beef.
  • They only use peanut oil.
  • There are no freezers in Five Guys locations, just coolers.

Five Guys burgers start at $11 for a Little Hamburger, to $17 for a Bacon-Cheeseburger.

Hot Dogs start at $10 for a regular one, to $14 for a Bacon-Cheese Hot Dog.

Well, you know where to find me this coming Monday…
