They’re finally here.

The CDC vouchers, which have caused long queues in supermarkets, are here.

From today onwards (25 June 2024), every Singaporean household can now claim $300 in CDC vouchers for their daily expenses.

You can watch this video to know more about CDC vouchers:

They can be claimed online at go.gov.sg/cdcv, and will be split equally ($150 each) for spending at participating hawkers and heartland merchants, and supermarkets.

This is part of the enhanced Assurance Package to help with cost-of-living concerns and an uncertain economic outlook, whereby an additional $600 in CDC vouchers—the first $300 to be disbursed in June 2024, and the remaining $300 in January 2025—were announced during this year’s Budget.

You can watch this video to know more about the enhanced Assurance Package:

PM Wong said in a TikTok video that more neighbourhood coffeeshops have joined the scheme, which means you can now order fish at your cai png stall without breaking into a sweat (my joke, not PM Wong’s joke).

But of course, all we want to know is…

Got return vouchers or not?

Got.

Here’s the guide to the Return Vouchers in supermarkets now that CDC Vouchers are available.

NTUC FairPrice Offers Return Vouchers for CDC Voucher Spend

NTUC FairPrice will distribute $4 in FairPrice return vouchers for every $50 worth of CDC vouchers spent in a single transaction at any FairPrice store until 1 July 2024.

The return vouchers will be valid for use the day after they are issued until 31 July 2024. There is no minimum spend requirement, and multiple vouchers can be used in a single transaction.

Giant Outlets’ Return Vouchers

From 25 to 30 June, Giant outlets will offer a $6 return voucher for a minimum spend of $60 worth of CDC vouchers in a single receipt.

These vouchers can be redeemed the day after issuance and must be used by 16 July 2024, with no minimum spend requirement.

Promotions at Cold Storage, CS Fresh, and Jasons Deli

During the same period, Cold Storage, CS Fresh, and Jasons Deli stores will provide an $8 return voucher for a minimum spend of $80 worth of CDC vouchers.

But I guess if you’re a regular in these supermarkets, you probably didn’t even know what a return voucher is.

No, I am just joking, and to show my boss that this isn’t written by AI.
