Singapore’s Ice Magic Makes a Frosty Comeback: Snowy Fun and Festive Eats Await from December 9

Despite December’s festivities in Singapore being frequently dampened by the monsoon season’s heavy showers, there’s a silver lining for those fantasising about experiencing a white Christmas.

Ice Magic, the beloved pop-up winter playground, is making a grand return to Singapore.

Yes, it’s that Ice Magic that got into the news last year for its long queue…while in winter wear.

From 9 December 2023 – 21 January 2024, you can immerse yourself in this enchanting winter wonderland. This year’s edition is grander than ever, spanning 3000 square metres with real snow and an array of exciting attractions.

If you’re planning a visit, head this crucial advice: do not lose your wristband. Losing it might lead to an unpleasant argument with the security.

Exciting New Magical Attractions Awaits

You’ll be happy to know that this year’s lineup of attractions is more exhilarating than before.

Take a spin on the Merry-Go-Round on Ice, a huge 8-metre diameter carousel set atop an icy surface.

Next to the carousel, there’s a Double-Lane Couple Ice Slide-double the slides, double the fun, right? Visitors can clasp their partner’s hand for a brisk descend.

It’s okay, singles, you can always hold your best friend’s hand instead.

If you’ve no friends, then too bad.

Snap up early Bird Tickets for $29 with a $10 discount while stocks last.

Regular tickets are priced from $19-$39 on weekdays, $39 on weekends and with a special $49 ticket on the eve of public holidays and the public holidays itself, which includes a complimentary cup of hot chocolate. Note that the prices listed are not inclusive of booking fee.

To prevent complaints from long queues that occurred last year, a visitor limit is implemented for each session. Visitors are encouraged to book their desired sessions early.

Remember to wear long pants and bring along your own winter wear so you can join a separate queue to register for the event and avoid waiting in line for winter jackets.

Ice Magic operates from 10am to 7pm, divided into three sessions: 10am – 12 45pm, 1pm – 3 45pm and lastly, 4pm-6 45pm, each lasting 2 hours and 45 minutes.

The Winter Food Village opens at 10am-10pm and extends till midnight on New Year’s Eve, offering an alternative to the usual countdown locations.

The event will be held at Bayfront Event Space, 12 A Bayfront Ave, S018970.
