However, the maximum daily temperatures are still expected to hit 34°C.

Hot Weather Continues Even After May

Although we had some rainy days in the first half of May, the second half was full of warm and dry weather, with temperatures peaking at 36°C.

Nights were also warm and humid, with temperatures around 28°C. Additionally, winds blowing from the east and southeast will bring in warm and humid air from the seas into Singapore. We definitely put our air-conditioners to good use.

Furthermore, May 2022 saw the highest daily maximum temperature of 36.7°C recorded at Admiralty on 13 May 2022. This is the highest temperature ever recorded in Singapore in May, with the previous record being 36.5°C in 2010 and 2016.
