At the wizened age of 55, Li Nanxing’s still not showing any signs of slowing down. Having dominated the local media industry during his time here, our own Ah Ge has since moved on to greener waters, where the lush scenery that’s China beckons eagerly for him.

And it seems that he’s only going from strength to strength, as the dashing actor’s all set to undertake his first China drama, which also happens to be produced by acting powerhouse Vicki Zhao of My Fair Princess (1998) fame.

And the best part? It’s coming out in Feb 2020.

Li Nanxing’s First China Drama With Vicky Zhao Will Be Aired In Feb 2020

According to Shin Min Daily Newsthe drama’s titled ‘Everyone Wants To Meet You’, and is produced by veteran actress Vicki Zhao.

The romance-web drama will be released on Chinese streaming platform iQiyi in mid-February.

According to reports, Zhao had approached Li to take on the supporting role, and the latter had accepted as he thought it was a good role.

In the web-drama, Li portrays the father of the male lead, played by Chinese actor Zhang Zhehan.

Though from the looks of it, he could portray his elder brother just as well too, considering how he seems to have indulged in the fountain of youth.

Management Agency

Lest you’re unaware, Li Nanxing had previously signed with Zhao’s management agency, which will help him lookout for opportunities in China.

The pair have actually been close friends for several years, after Zhao’s husband introduced Li to her at a dinner function more than 10 years ago. Zhao was reportedly a huge fan of the actor as a young girl, having witnessed him in Paint A Rainbow (1987)

During a group interview in September last year, Zhao spoke of Li in glowing terms, describing him as a charismatic individual who was well-liked on set.

“Nanxing was such a charmer on set – so professional, so well-mannered. He’s a favourite among all our female staff,” said Zhao.
