Friends of mine who have used Tinder used to tell me stories about people catfishing them. Apparently, its a common occurrence which happens all the time.

Either that or, the people they meet excessively edit their photos using apps so they don’t even look like the person in their pictures. More like an expectation vs reality thing.

Scary stuff.

Kinda when you hope to look all sexy and wet after a shower, but in reality, you just look like Smeagol.

M’sian Man Photoshops His Face Onto Real Doctors’ Face To Scam Unsuspecting Women Online

This man put both his catfishing and editing things to FULL use. Like, to the next level.

An alleged scammer has been exposed in a Facebook post by a lady who goes by the name of Aryana Ren.

The alleged scammer pretended to be a Medical Officer at Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun in Ipoh, Malaysia.

To prove that he was indeed a fake doctor, he would steal real doctors’ photos and Photoshop his face onto those pictures.

Aryana claims that the scammer does not have any records on the Malaysia Medical Council website.

I’ve got to give him an A for effort though. Now you must be wondering, where are the pictures? Sadly, they got deleted.

Here they are, for your viewing pleasure:

Note: The photo on the left is the original photo by a real doctor named Dr Rudiman. The photo on the right were the edited ones provided by the alleged scammer.

Here the scammer is “performing” a three-man operation. Cool stuff.

He looks like he’s raising his eyebrows like yeah, I’m a doctor watch me do doctor..stuff.

Here, the scammer seems to be doing some intense surgical procedure so much that he is wide-eyed and focused. Maybe it was the coffee.

You know in those Hollywood shows, you often see the doctors strut into the operation theatre and ear their surgical mask with all the expert precision in the world. Yeah, he’s doing just that here.

I am by no means an expert in the Photoshop or picture editing department.. It sucks so I shall make no comments.

Scammed Women He Met Online

The man, allegedly named Aizat Hamdan would conduct love scams online and trick women into actually thinking that he is a practising OBGYN at a hospital.

He also has more than 7,000 followers on Facebook

Surely a doctor wouldn’t need money right? And if he did, he would be able to pay you back should he desperately need money.. right?

Wrong.

Using his fake identity, he convinced women that he was indeed a surgeon. Once his plan worked and women fell for it, he then proceeds to scam them and borrows money.

Now, if this sounds familiar, it’s because we’ve done a video on this topic with the SPF before. Here, take a look and remember to follow us on Instagram:

The Real Doctor

I can’t imagine what it would feel like if someone tried to steal your photos and pretend that it was them. The real doctor who had to go through that is actually a pretty popular laparoscopic surgeon from Indonesia named Dr Rudiman.

After they found out about the scammer, Aryana and her medical team have since contacted Dr Rudiman and made a police report regarding the matter.
