On June 10, footages of a motorcyclist riding bare naked on the road made rounds on social media.

And on the same day, another clip of a nude man climbing on top of a car went viral.

Both videos were believed to be the same person.

Yup, I don’t blame you if you were left just as bewildered as me.

Charged in Court & Remanded at IMH

The court has charged Yeo Qi Wei, 24, under Singapore’s Miscellaneous Offences (Public Order and Nuisance) Act.

Dressed in a white t-shirt, Yeo appeared in court via a video conference on June 12.

He is scheduled to return to court on 25 June after two weeks of psychiatric observation at the Institute of Mental Health (IMH).

Yeo could be jailed for up to three months, fined up to S$2,000, or both for being nude in a public place.

Naked motorcyclist riding in broad daylight

Lest you’re still unaware, footages of an unclothed man waiting at a traffic light junction near Masjid Darul Aman in Eunos were circulated.

Road users first reported the baffling scene on 10 June.

Erm Sir, not wearing a helmet on the road is bad enough, but not wearing clothes? Hmm.

Just so you know, you’ll be awarded three demerit points and a fine of S$150 if you’re riding a motorcycle without a helmet.

Climbing on top of a car at night while naked

If you think that’s weird enough, well the plot doesn’t end there. Later that day, clips of someone climbing on top of a car in an open-air car park appeared.

The man initially leaned his entire body against the boot of the white car before finding his footing to the roof.

Funniest part? That wasn’t even his car.

The owner exited the car looking puzzled only to see a fully naked man on the roof of his vehicle.

Calm and composed, the man then happily leapt off to the grass patch before walking away.

The owner must have went home that day thinking, “What in the world just happened?”.

The exact time and location of the incident were not disclosed. However, it is believed to have taken place near Lorong 8 Toa Payoh.

The man was thereafter arrested. Police investigations are ongoing.

Investigated for other offences

It is understood by Mothership that Yeo is also being investigated for separate offences. These include public nuisance, obscene act in a public place, deliberate trespass and other traffic violations.
